How do I know the mail / phone call that I received is a scam?
Phishing scam usually threaten user with serious consequences if the user did not respond to it. For example, it can be worded in a way that if you do not log in, your account will be suspended.
Genuine email from the Bank will not provide a hyperlink for users to click on it to login.
Does phishing always require a fake website?
No. Phishing can be made through phone calls or SMS as well.
